Christmas dinner was almost ready so Seven excused herself to get dressed. Shy and the boys were already dressed, and they looked so handsome in their black button-up shirts and black dress slacks. Seven thought it was the cutest thing seeing her little mans in their red bowties and suspenders. She wanted them to wear the black dress shoes she bought, but Shy wasn’t having that. His shoe connect was able to get him and the boys some Jordan’s on short notice.

Before styling her hair and putting on her make-up, she slid into her black and red floral dress with a pair of black and red Christian Louboutin. Seven had to admit; she looked amazing with the extra weight. Seven took a couple of selfies before joining her family. She didn’t see the guys around, so she figured that they were in the basement chilling.

“Okay, Mrs. Cortes.” Dannan called out whistling.

Seven tried to hide the fact that she was blushing. “You tried it.” Seven giggled.

“Look at you; y’all been cooped up in this big ass house and done fell in love all over again.” Dannan smiled at her baby cousin.

“She never fell out of love. What are you talking about?” Riley added.

“Okay, enough about me.” Seven tried to change the subject. She knew what was going on between her and Shy wasn’t real, yet she still wanted to live in the moment. She knew that he had a life back in New York, so right now she wanted to enjoy the time they had together.

Thinking about the possibility of Shy and Deuce leaving put a damper on Seven’s mood. She needed to do something to busy herself. Grabbing the dish rag, Seven wiped down the counter or anything she thought was dirty.

“You look beautiful, baby girl.” Rick smiled at his daughter entering the kitchen with Deuce in his arms.”

“Thanks, Daddy.” Seven walked over to her father kissing his forehead. She took Deuce from her daddy’s arms, then kissed his forehead.

“Ace said don’t leave him out.” Shy walked up on her.

“I could never forget about mama’s baby.” Seven kissed Ace’s tiny lips. He looked so cute curled up in Shy’s arms.

“Y’all are popping as a unit.” Dannan smiled at her cousin, anyone with eyes could see the love between the four. Deuce looked so at peace in Seven’s arms. Seven looked at Ace and Shy the same way Shy looked at Seven and Deuce… with so much love.

“Everyone took a picture by the tree; now it’s your turn.” Riley grabbed Seven’s phone to take a picture of them.

Walking over to the Christmas tree, Shy and Seven stood side by side posing for the camera.

“So cute.” Riley cheesed; this was her first time seeing her best friend happy in a while.

“Here, hold Ace too.” Shy said handing Seven A’Donis.

“Ri, take one more.” Shy wrapped his arms around Seven’s waist. She felt overwhelmed. Everything felt so perfect. This is all she ever wanted, but too bad it wasn’t reality.

“Smile, Sev,” Ri could see the light leaving Seven’s eyes.
